Have you heard about Twitter's rebrand to... well, TwitterX? ๐ค
What do you think? I've loved the reactive response, including Gregg's:
Pssssst.. If you need a little support with navigating the ever-changing landscape of social media (including Twitter, or should I say, X) we have a special offer exclusive for ABN members:ย http://www.collaborativecomms.co.uk/abn/ย

Is it true that Elon likes a Greggs sausage roll?
First time I've seen the Greggs response - although there have been some amusing responses to Twitter.
A few weeks ago, when the thread limit issue was introduced, I wrote a blog post on everything that's happening with Twitter: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/end-twitter-simon-pittman
Reminds me a bit of when Coco Pops rebranded as Choco Crispies... everyone still called them Coco Pops. Same with Starbursts/Opal Fruits.
Would have made more sense if Twitter had gone the Meta route... used X as the overall company/brand, keeping Twitter as a part of that, and introducing any additional services as they are developed (similar to how Meta has Facebook, Threads, etc.)
However, we are all talking about Twitter (including talking about Twitter on other websites!) which I guess is perhaps what they wanted all along... :)ย
Interesting blog Simon, thank you!ย
Totally agree, it'll always be Twitter and a 'Tweet' in my eyes ๐ฆ.
It had me chuckling!
I don't really understand what's being going on with Twitter recently but I did see the Greggs response and it made me laugh!

It's been drama central ever since Elon took over!
