The first ‘Ten’ Sales Intel Group was launched by Aberdeen Business Network (ABN) in October 2009 with Sten. Since then 14 more groups have been formed - Xten, Lten, Gten, Mten, Aten, Eten, Qten, Tten, Iten, Bten, Rten, Vten, Uten and Wten. All are made up of ten non-competing business owners or experienced sales/BD professionals, sharing market intel on a confidential basis, as well as helping each other with information, leads, introductions and support

The total business won figure is now well over £15m and increasing monthly. To achieve this, members have specific requests for help, ask for more information on companies mentioned by other members and act directly on intel that’s shared, and seek other types of support.

Due to high demand, we have decided to expand our Tens sales Intel group further afield. We will be launching new groups in Banchory, Kingswell, Ellon and Elgin and a 5th group in Aberdeen who's focus will be international sales.

Each group meets for 1 hour each fortnight. Meetings consist of each member taking 5 minutes to share their market intel (job moves, expansions, growth, etc), updates (recent meetings, new clients, upcoming events, etc) and specific requests for assistance. Each contribution is interactive, ie, other members can ask questions, ask about specific contacts, etc. Meetings are run by a group manager who also summarises action points
