I love a good coffee, my normal go to is Starbucks, but recently I have been trying to support local, independent shops and stores. Today I was Introduced to The cult of Coffee on Esslemont Avenue by Siobhan Jaffery for our meeting, and I will certainly be back. The latte was the best cup ive had in ages, Staff were friendly, nothing seemed to much hassel and the scones were to die for and best of all they were dog friendly. If you are in the area, pop in.

I have been meaning to go there for so long now and its just up the road from the office, could be dangerous then.... ;)
You won't be disappointed.
There's a new coffee shop opened on Schoolhill called Mount. I think it's aimed at younger, trendier people than myself, but the coffee was nice!
It's right next to Starbucks, which is either a big mistake or a genius idea!!
Probably not for me, if you have to be young and trendy. Neither of those apply to me.
But I might pop in for a take away.

Cult of Coffee is great. Honorable mention for Orka on St Swithin Street too (we were there at the weekend).

I can vouch for the fine coffee and the cakes are to die for!!
So good to find a good coffee shop and always up for new places to try out. Recently went to Figment which is opposite the Palm Court - coffee was great but refrained from trying the fine pieces on that occasion!
I have been to Figment pre covid so really must get back there.
How about we meet there for a coffee and a cake soon Pauline?
