Looking to see if anyone can answer a question for me....have a new client who has moved into the centre and used to live in Aberdeen years ago...he is trying to rack his brain as to what the Starbucks on Huntly Street corner next to Centrum used to be....I have no clue so if anyone can tell me so I can put him out of his misery :)

I'm curious now... always walked past that building and never really noticed it until recent years when its been a Starbucks.
A quick Google search includes reference to a "Royal Insurance Company" (it's a listed building) however that's the only info that seems to exist online!
Damn. I like KitKats (obviously!) but have no idea what was there before Starbucks!
