Is everyone successful in Aberdeen just now, if so that's great and I'm not needed. I've been talking to plumbers, joiners, bookkeepers, garages and so on all week.  What I keep getting back, is we're all full, too busy, can't take on any more customers, so don't need to advertise.

If that's the case I will have to look elsewhere to be helping businesses get themselves known and secure new customers/clients. How's everyone else doing, is there anything I can be helping with ( along with or aside from what I do as well), we are all one community. Hope all are well. www.whatsoninaberdeen.net

  • Thanks for the offer of help Avril. I'm sure there's lots of businesses on here that could do with some assistance!

  • I think it depends on how people define success! I also wonder what happens if the businesses who are "too busy" lose their big customers!

Interestingly, my main business is software products, which happens to be mostly used in other parts of the UK and the world. In Aberdeen, I'm probably best known for the book group stuff.

Not sure if there's anything you can help with at the moment, although hope your new business is going well!

    • Thanks Simon, always great to see a familiar face when I'm in FB groups etc. Isn't that funny, it's exactly how I know you, through your book club, rather than what would be viewed as your main work. Great that you can do both.  I'm on the look out for a tele-sales/partner at 50% commission if you can think of anyone who might be interested in.  Hope to catch up with you networking somewhere in Aberdeen. Avril
