If you can't have a hearty meal on Christmas day, when can you have one?
The Gathimba Edwards Foundation are all about giving kids in Kenya a chance and enabling every child to go to school. Schools only just starting back as of October and currently only college, univeristy and those children in their final year of high school and primary have returned through the Kenya Government's gradual reopening policy, many of the kids are still at home and not receiving school meals.
This Christmas we would like to give a special food package to each of the families we currently support. We aim to provide each of the 341 children and their families with a hearty nutritious meal of chicken, chapati and beans. Ugali and rice are staple foods in Kenya whilst meat and chapati is a popular meal on special occasions when it can be afforded.
£5 enables us to feed a child and their family this Christmas.
Any support would mean the world and help make it a Christmas to remember.
