Damaris is described by her teacher as a hard working, positive and disciplined girl who deserves to be in school full-time. Sadly since her mum lost her job at a school it has become hard for her to afford Damaris’ school fees whilst also putting food on the table and paying the secondary school fees of Damaris’ brother.
Sponsorship of £35 per month from an individual or company will see Damaris never be sent home from school, enjoying school meals and enable us to purchase her uniform, shoes, books and stationery. As Damaris’ sponsor you’d be in regular letter writing contact and receive an end of year school performance update from us at Gathimba Edwards Foundation. I very highly recommend sponsoring a child like Damaris with GEF. For a very modest amount you can make such a different to someone's life. It is hugely satisfying. And their letters and messages are great fun too!
