Probably the thing I am missing most during the pandemic is getting away on holiday. What is your dream vacation? One day I would love to do a round the world cruise. Hi Phil - Would love to take a year out at some point and really do America. I completely understand your idea of Canada too though. Was there for a family wedding a few years ago in Quebec Province and travelled around quite a bit while there. Beautiful country, lovely people.
Dont know about a dream holiday, but would love to get back to Playa blanca in Lanzerote - been as a child and been back with our own kids - it's just my happy place and makes me feel so chilled out.
One of the positive things from the last year Phil has been the opportunity to save from the things we had and did before lockdown such as less fuel for the car through working from home, less socialising, no coffees/scones ( sore one!) and not being able to get away. Not been thinking about holidays this year, perhaps too risky, however will in 2022. Austria on the cards for a short haul and Canada again for long haul. here`s hoping.
I'm keen to get to Canada as well. My sister is in Calgary and I haven't seen her for a few years now. I can't wait until we can start getting away again.
