What a lovely project! Right on my doorstep in Aberdeen too!

I’m a keen gardener and the huge uptake from kids in a local school to start growing their own vegetables really makes me smile.

I’m inspired by the next generation of green-fingered growers. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/farming/3135328/farming-charity-launches-veg-growing-project-for-almost-10000-north-primary-kids/

  • So cute!

    • They are little cuties aren't they Jessie Crawley ?

I really think this project will help kids make better, healthier food choices as they have grown the food themselves 😀

      • Definitely, makes food exciting for them too!

  • I think it's a fantastic way to connect kids (and adults!) to the food they find on their plate.

    • I totally agree Susan Caldwell as some kids don't know where their food comes from. Growing it themselves will give them confidence to try different foods and also build their self-esteem...a win-win situation!
