The best thing you ever tought me was the slashing of tyres analogy - "If you got a flat tyre, you wouldn't slash the remaining three" - That has helped me stay on track far longer than previous attempts and keep my patience. Now I don't get derailed by one bad meal or day and am starting to see results.
I go on the theory that if it took me 18 months or so to fall out of shape and good habits, i cant expect to reverse that in any less time. Small changes and make a start, any start, is better than doing nothing at all.

Exactly, it didn't happen overnight so it wont be reversed overnight.
Good one SJ! Small bites can add up to big chunks?
This is exactly it!
