As part of our growth journey in 2020 we launched RARE Youth Revolution, a dedicated platform for children and young people affected by rare disease. As part of our commitment to young people we are looking to recruit an individual of exceptional talent under our Illuminating RARE Talent programme; an initiative supporting young people within the rare disease community to gain valuable workplace experience to enhance their readiness for a rewarding career. This position is a fixed term, paid internship in the role of RARE Youth Coordinator. The successful candidate will be working with our Youth Editor to drive forward the RARE Youth Revolution. Primary activities will be the planning and implementation of the initiative including design of the Illumintaing RARE Talent programme. The role will also include design and execution of innovative campaigns, coordination of the RYR team and planning and executing of RYR events. We are looking for someone who enjoys using their own initiative and has strong creative flare and who relishes the opportunity to be part of a small but growing brand and ethical movement with not-for-profit values. The successful applicant will be based at our office in Ashford, Kent with some travel within the UK to attend events. Home and flexible working options can be discussed at interview stage.
