On Friday evening, Charlie House welcomed just under 500 guests to a fantastic night of fundraising at P&J Live for our annual Charlie House Big Build Ball!
After finalising our figures in the office we are very excited to announce that our total PROFIT from the Big Build Ball is a fantastic……..
£147,619.07
We are just completely blown away by this total and it’s really down to individuals like you who attended the event, bought a tombola ticket, jewellery raffle ticket, merchandise, supported with the supply of services, donated an auction prize or simply donated that has helped us reach that magic number! A surprise cheque presentation from the event silver sponsor, Apache North Sea, for £50,000 really was the icing on the cake!
All funds received from the ball will go towards our Big Build appeal to build a specialist support centre right here in Aberdeen. This centre will be crucial for families across the North-east of Scotland offering much needed respite, space for creating lasting memories together and sadly end of life care for babies, children and young people.
The closest facility of this kind is a 200 mile round trip from Aberdeen – a trip that many families struggle to undertake which is why its so important to get the centre up and running and thanks to you we are now one step closer to making our dream become a reality.
The date has already been set for next year’s ball – Saturday 5th December 2020 @ P&J Live with save the dates to follow, so please get the date in your diary. Wishing all ABN members a very Merry Christmas and a happy & healthy 2020!
