I feel a little like Troy....a random guy with a microphone you might remember from ....no, it's gone.

Actually, I'm John Mellis, and I used to be on the radio every day for 21 years across North East Scotland, right up until the end of 2015, when I left Northsound 1 and moved to Smooth Radio in Glasgow, where I'm a presenter now. I also run my own audio company Mellis Media which produces everything from voiceovers and podcasts to on-hold telephone messaging. Then, there's my favourite job, as stadium announcer for Aberdeen FC at Pittodrie on match days.

Despite all that, because of a quirky working scenario.... I have a fair deal of time available in the Aberdeen area for other projects and opportunities.
