Help - Suggestions of hotels in Stirling or Perth!

As the title says, I'm looking for suggestions of nice hotels in Stirling or Perth for a client heading up to Scotland.

Not Premier Inns or Travelodges, something a bit special. We've never stayed in those areas (and don't have the budget for fancy hotels ha ha), so I'm a bit clueless!
