I had a fab day at Aberdeen College of Performing arts recently, shooting headshots for some of their students. Casting headshots are essential for performers to gain auditions and they always hae to be kept up to date so that casting directors can know what the performer really looks like today so they can start work in a new production next week. Apart from being recent, a casting headshot also has to communicate character - the type of character that each performer is suitable to play. That's the real knack - identifying that and capturing it in a short photo shoot. Isn't it the same for us in business? What to we want to say to people about who we are and what we are capable of? A great headshot can help to communicate this quicily in a world where people are bombaded with imagery every single day.
