Croissants đ„ and kindness
The best breakfast ever
Beefeater Restaurants I have to applaud your staff at Dundee Kingsway, in particular the manager on Saturday morning
Travelling back up the road to Aberdeen my 5 year old said she wanted a croissant, butter and jam for breakfast.
We had been on the road for a few hours and it was reaching the point where this story could have gone one of two ways.
Meltdown or salvation!
A hungry 5 year old on a long journey can be disastrous!
We looked for somewhere that might do breakfasts and spotted the Beefeater
Went to the door and asked
The young gentleman said âis it two breakfasts?â
I said âno thanks , just a conteninental for the wee oneâ
He asked âwhat is it she wants?â
My reply âto be honest she only wants a crossaint, jam and butterâ
He looked at Emerie smiled and said âhelp yourself little lady, no chargeâ
I said âno, no, Iâll payâ
To which he insisted âplease take a seat, help yourself and there is ok charge for her crossiantâ
With a little tremble in my voice at his kindness âI said, thank you so much đ and Emerie choose her crossiant and orange juiceâ
Emerie said Itâs the best one she ever had.
The generous staff made a five year olds day and a journey home less stressful!

A really generous act that has left a lasting impression on us all
How lovely. And it does look like an excellent croissant!
It must have been as it was certainly devoured!
