Worryingly (according to AEGON), more than a third (36%) of people in the UK have no emergency savings, and 29% have less than a month’s worth of income saved. What’s more, those with emergency savings only have enough to live without an income for just over 4 months (or 18 weeks) on average.

I got in a sweat recording this. I now have an emergency fund! Thankfully, I haven't needed to access it yet, but the peace of mind from knowing it's there if I have to - priceless!
