Could Covid parties become the norm?

I read this story and I was horrified that a Professor of Immunology was suggesting 'Covid parties' for the young. Other professors in the same article strongly disagree. I think that's the challenge of the pandemic. We don't know which voices to listen to and so we all go with those who reinforce our own values and opinions.

  • A bit like the chicken pox parties but this feels a little too far!

    • I agree Siobhan Jaffray as I believe we don't know enough about COVID to make these kind if decisions with our children's health and lives at stake! It's all a bit doom and gloom 😟

  • .. This is a very weird year!

The daily headlines don't shock me anymore 🤣

    • I know what you mean Jessie Crawley but what concerns me us that we are becoming desensitized to the issues of this awful pandemic!

      • I agree, I definitely feel like many people have lost the 'fear' factor because they're bored and fed up. We just have to be sensible and hopefully others close to us will follow suit

        • How true Jessie Crawley being sensible should be the top of everyone's list! 😊
