Most people start a business because they are passionate about something and they want others to benefit from that drive.

In my case that passion is managing business performance and coaching owners of new, small and developing organisations to benefit from my experience.  Now that I have launched my own business, in reality I find myself spending 50% of my time driving that passion and the other 50% is tied up in things like networking, marketing, social media, accounting and a whole host of other disciplines I know nothing about.

But its exciting! It pushes you out of your comfort zone. The more you do something the more comfortable it becomes, and it will take you to a better place. For me, I’ve moved networking into my comfort zone and now it is time to start on social media.

I spent yesterday working on my social media schedule with Cerri McDonald from Prospect13 and with Lisa Simpson from Whitespace Studio who took some professional headshots.  I am really looking forward to this next challenge and the good news is there is always someone out there who can help you.

Are you ready to leave your comfort zones to reach a better place?
