Stress is useful
Being stressful is not

Anger is helpful
But letting anger control you is not

Accept your emotions but don't get attached to them.

You feel fear but you are not a fearful person. It's a feeling, not you.

You feel stress but you are not stressed. It's a feeling, not you.

You feel anger but you are not an angry person. It's a feeling, not you.

Here's an analogy that may help. Imagine you are sitting on a beach and you are watching these boats go past you. All you have to do is watch and not jump inside one of these boats.
