Perhaps showing my age but I always remember getting told towards the end of a week to take part in the reflective exercise '2 Stars & a Wish'. It is a bit like Ronseal, does what it says on the tin and you look back and think of 2 good things and one thing you want.
I think of this often when King of the ABN Kingdom (Andrew) asks what is my ask this meeting so thought I would take it a step further and put it on here but also include some highlights:-
Star 1: My 8 month old puppy decided that she would finally start to loose lead walk after the months of training -see video which you can right click and open in new tab: Mirren.mov
N.B I should note that in the interests of transparency this gets quickly abandoned if she sees a bird!
Star 2: After nearly a year since injury, I am finally back to running. This was a favourite past time of mine and really good for getting some headspace from work etc (it is a bit like Marmite, you either get it or you think I am crazy-fellow runners please confirm I am not doolally!) It has only started with a 2k run but its back in the right direction and hope to be back at marathons soon enough
Wish: Alongisde our jobs, my fiance and I are looking to build a property portfolio and recently completed on one in April which is nearly ready for the rental market (keep your eyes peeled!) but the really exciting new is that we have signed up 2 angel investors. One has no property knowledge but found the guaranteed return on investment way more appealing than what the bank offered and the other was previoulsy in property but didnt want the hassle of tenants so would rather I did the hard work and they just took their guaranteed return. Both signed up at 7% guaranteed return on investment so if anybody wants to know about this further then I am looking to speak to them and can give them all the details.
