Here's most of my business and personal development books. Have you read any of these books?

Any other favourite books, or anything you are reading at the moment?

And I'll end this post with a cheeky plug for my book group, networking events (next one is on Tuesday next week, 8th March!) and recently added writing help: www.booksandnetworking.co.uk

  • No business books on the go just now.  When i get a chance to pick up a book, it's usually to escape a bit.  Lots of crime/thrillers etc - Just finished the two Thursday Murder Club books by Richard Osman and the latest Jack Reacher book.

    • Always good to have a break from business/non-fiction books!

Both crime/thriller books sound like great choices! :-)

  • Some good stuff in there Simon.  My next read is 'Working Backwards' an inside Amazon story

    • Thank you! Never come across "Working Backwards" before - from the title, does sound like an interesting book!

  • Thats a good selection you have there! I'm reading 7 habits of Highly effectve people and The Daily Stoic.

    • Never heard of The Daily Stoic, although often see 7 Habits mentioned in my book group (although a book I've still to read myself)!

  • Dont think ive read any on the list Simon but defo kepping a snap of it for receommendations.

At the moement im going between a novel called Malibu rising by Taylor Jenkins, and The Guide by Dr William Holden

    • If you read any of the books, let me know what you think!

(And you'll also find plenty of book ideas in my book group on Facebook at facebook.com/groups/AberdeenBusinessBooks)

Seen Malibu Rising in the shops, although never heard of The Guide! :-)

  • Reading Brothers in Arms by James Holland, about a tank regiment in WW2. Nothing to do with business but a very good read!

    • Sounds like an interesting book!
