The CLICK-BAIT we allow..

What makes you click on a discussion? Some one or two word titles, or simple and straight to the point ones may interest you enough to click without the 'excitement' but if you're introducing something new onto the forum, then you should take some time to think about a click-worthy title.

Another great idea to encourage interaction is to ask a question in the title! This doesn't always have to be business related, but you'll find that many more members will stop to discuss. This increases your chances of staying on the homepage with more likes, views and comments.

The heading is key, whether that's asking a question or grabbing attention in another way. Always ask yourself - would your heading make you click?

  • Heading and picture for me.
  • It's always the image that catches my eye. Also, I find if they look a bit heavy on promoting a business service/offering I give them less attention than the more fun topics.
    • Agree! It's good to find an balance of business promoting & intriguing topics.
  • Heading and a picture :-)
    • For the picture, i've found that it won't show on the homepage (only once you click onto the discussion) unless you put it on top of the text!
  • Heading is indeed the key! Great reminder for us all
