  • Thanks for commenting Alice Arandia and the example you shared about the hoover part just doesn't make sense to me. However, the flip side is that some companies make it so easy to return items that we don't stop to think about the effect of cost implications, the environment or our own carbon footprint...the world has gone mad!

  • Hi Nicky, this amazes me - I shop online a lot but have never returned an online purchase - very rarely buy clothes online though so maybe that is why. 

    A friend was telling me the other day though that she bought a spare part for her hoover online and it didnt fit when she got it  - they sent her another part and told her not to bother posting part she had back as wasnt worth it!

    Seems crazy

     

     

     

     

    • I've not gone overboard with the online shopping Nicky as the whole returns thing puts me off!  I agree that some have made it a lot easier for us but some sellers still make it rather difficult to return items, having to log in to your account, log the return, print off labels then get it to a drop off point which is not necessarily just around the corner.  

      Still love to see, feel and try on clothes, so here's hoping we'll get a taste of that again soon, even though our choice is going to be limited in Aberdeen!
