Can’t quite believe I’m typing this...

It was a pleasure to appear on The High Performance Podcast yesterday to chat about the importance of helping others, having a purpose and how our amazing supporters and team’s hard work and passion has taken GEF from aiming to buy 22 mattresses to supporting 504 children through school/college/university & building 50 houses.

I was honoured to be part of this week’s episode with Lucy Easthope. When listening to the podcast each week I always takeaway something that can have a positive impact on GEF, my life and others. Gems from Lucy’s interview:

- Do the very best you can do for people at the very worst time of their lives.
- Give as much as you can but also look after yourself and be aware of what you are giving in each situation.
- When working from home give yourself a few minutes to switch off work mode at the end of the day so that you can be fully present with your family.

Follow what you are passionate about in life and you never know where it can take you and others! We'd never have achieved what we have without Aberdeen Business Network and all the wonderful people we have met through it.

Ps. I appear in the listener guest slot at 59:40 on the pod - available on Apple, Spotify etc.
