Do you know anyone who can convert an old VHS video to a more modern version??

I've been meaning to convert our wedding video for years and never got round to it. However, a recent conversation with a good friend made me realise I need to make this a priority. She reminded me that my Mum Mary,  who sadly passed away in January, bucked the trend and gave a speech at her youngest daughter's wedding...unheard of in the 80s!

I'd forgotten she did that,  so I'm desperate to see it and remind myself what an awesome woman she was! Here's a picture of Mary at 75 after an afternoon horse riding ❤

    • Thanks so much Iska Birnie I'll give Andy a call today! I'm so excited to finally get this done and rediscover our cherished memories ❤

      • You are very welcome! :-)

Your post actually reminded me that I have a few VHS tapes that I need converted as well.

        • I spoke with Andy last night Iska Birnie and will be dropping off my VHS and video camera cassettes on Friday to get them converted to MP4. I'm beyond excited at seeing the content again...if I'm honest, I'm not even sure what is on some of the cassettes! 🤣

          • Oh fantastic! Tell Andy I'm asking for him, I've not spoken with him in ages.

  • Thansk for sharing that story, your mum looks and sounds amazing.  Sorry I don't know where you can get a VHS converted..... I seem to think I recall seeing an advert for this just at the edge of the Brig O Dee before you reach the roundabout to go to ASDA etc.

    • Thank you Jennifer Taylor they broke the mold when they made my Mum, she really was one in a million.

I've also got tapes from a 90s video camera to convert with footage of my son and daughter, so hopefully someone in the ABN Community will come to my rescue!
