Afternoon all, I have a colleague who volunteers with Befriend a Child and last year we organised gift donations from our Aberdeen office via their giving tree appeal. It was a great success and I think eveyone took part and donated a gift. This year the Befriend a Child giving tree has gone virtual to make it easy to give a gift in the current circumstances

I dontated a gift yesterday via their amazon wishlist and it was so easy I thought I would share on here in case anyone else is interested.

This Christmas is set to be a difficult time of the year for the local children supported by Befriend a Child, many of whom face difficult life circumstances which can prevent them from experiencing the Christmas traditions that we take for granted, simple things such as pulling a cracker or having a Christmas dinner.

Befriend a Child want to ensure these children still have a magical Christmas including receiving Christmas gifts to open and adventures to look forward to in 2021.
