This session will look at the digital tools and tactics available to businesses to support growth. From where to start with creating knock-out video content to what to consider when it comes to making your corporate website work harder for you.
We will then open the second half of the session up to the audience.
This is an informal, fully interactive workshop for members, by members, so come prepared with questions!

Jason is one of the North-east’s most experienced e-commerce practitioners, having working in digital for 12 years, including a decade at Aberdeen International Airport and in his current capacity at Donald Russell, one of Aberdeenshire’s largest e-commerce brands and a leader in the UK food and drink sector. Multi-skilled in the digital marketing mix, he has a track record of delivering digital projects and campaigns that have a substantial impact on the bottom line. In his presentation, Jason will look at best practice e-commerce, providing tips on how to set-up to succeed in this rapidly growing discipline, with real-world examples. You will learn the key considerations in the development of a successful e-commerce operation, as well as practical advice on how to drive new and existing customers to your online store, and optimisation of your store for maximum sales conversion levels.

Adam started Moment Digital with a simple vision: to help good brands grow. He holds a first-class degree in Business with Media, from Edinburgh Napier University. Having spent time working in Microsoft's Global Media Team and with multinational agencies in the WPP Group, he has found where he thrives: the agile world of specialist marketing agencies. With more than a decade’s experience in predominantly digital fields, Adam is a believer in the value of purposeful work, process (to a point) and having the right people on board. His presentation will look at what makes for a good search engine marketing strategy, from carrying out a technical assessment of your website to value-adding content which supports growth and the benefits of continual review.
 
Mark Turner

Mark has been producing video content for corporate and public audiences for 30 years. He has made films for TV, film, theatre, mobile devices, video games, theme parks and live events. He was lead producer for screen content at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games ceremonies and was a producer at Axis Animation for three years, before joining Signal in 2018. In this session, Mark will outline the growing importance of video as part of your marketing mix. He will explain the unique strengths of video and how to exploit them (without breaking the bank); and demonstrate the value of taking risks.
